We have lodge at Khare near from Mera Peak Base Camp, on the way to Baruntse trekking route, Lodge Name: Refuge Mera Lodge. Refuge Mera Lodge, Khare is the last village in Mera Peak and Baruntse trail. So, we provide all the Baruntse Expedition service from Khare, Refuge Mera Lodge.

Refuge Mera Lodge provides a fully equipped Fixed Tent Camp at Baruntse Base Camp (5,250m) for climbers of the Mt. Baruntse Expedition (7,129m). Our comfortable base camp setup offers high-quality tents, including North Face Dome tents, box tents, dining and kitchen tents, toilet and shower tents, designed to extreme weather conditions. We supply all essential camping and cooking equipment, such as EP gas, gas stoves, fuel stoves, kerosene oil, cooking utensils, folding tables and chairs, foam mattresses, etc. Our solar panels provide lighting and battery charging, ensuring a reliable power source throughout your stay. Additionally, we offer fixing gear, including fixed ropes, main ropes, snow bars, ice screws, and rock pitons, along with Poisk oxygen cylinders for added safety. We provide Thurya Satellite Phone and walkie-talkies (Talk Back) for communication facility.

Our experienced trekking cook and kitchen assistants prepare three nutritious meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), along with tea, coffee, soups, biscuits, chocolates, tinned food, fruits, and hot drinking water to keep climbers energized. We also provide hot showers upon request, ensuring added comfort during the expedition. All necessary equipment is transported from Khare by our dedicated support team to ensure a seamless experience.   • Fixed Tent Camp for Batuntse Expedition – Comfortable Accommodation

At Baruntse Base Camp, we provide fixed tent camping services to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free experience for climbers. We provide Box Tents at the Baruntse base camp for a comfortable rest and North Face Dome Tents at Camp 1 and Camp 2 for safe, secure shelter at higher altitudes in extreme weather condition. Additionally, we set up a fully equipped kitchen tent and frame dining tent, along with toilet and shower tents for hygiene and convenience.


  • Expedition Kitchen & Food Service – Nutritious and Energizing Meals

Our expedition team includes a professional cook, kitchen helper, and transport staff to manage all meals and logistics. We provide all  cooking utensils, stoves, fuel (kerosene/gas), and a variety of nutritious meals throughout the climb. Expect freshly prepared meals daily (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Soup) based on the climber's decision. Climbers also receive hot drinks, including tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits to keep energized. For extra nourishment, we provide chocolate, tinned food, fruits, mix nut items, cheese, and high-energy snacks to maintain energy levels. Additionally, we supply high quality Ep Gas, JetBoil, and Kofel sets for high altitude camps.


  • Luxury and Comfort for Climbers and Staff

Our Baruntse Base Camp is designed to provide climbers with maximum comfort at high altitudes. We provide soft pillows and luxury foam mattresses in every tent to ensure a restful sleep. We have two dining at Baruntse Base Camp. In the first Dining Tent, you will find tables, chairs, carpets. Our second dining tents also designed with green grass flooring for a cozy atmosphere to creating a comfortable space to relax. Heaters are provided in the dining area to keep you warm. Every tent is equipped with solar panels for lighting and battery charging. We offer hot washing water upon request. To help you stay warm in colder conditions, we also provide warm hot bags for every member.


  • Group Climbing Gear for Safe Ascents

Your safety is our priority. For technical climbing and rope fixing, we provide high-quality climbing equipment for the team to ensure a safe and successfull summit. Our Korean Fix Ropes, dynamic and static ropes, carabiners, ice screws, and snow bars are high-quality tools that ensure your safety while climbing. This gear is included as part of our Baruntse Fixed Camping Service, ensuring that your climbing experience is both efficient and secure.


  • Safety and Emergency Support

At Refuge Mera Lodge, we take safety seriously. We provide full insurance coverage for all our staffs, and we offer oxygen cylinders with masks and regulators in case of emergency. Our Thuraya Satellite Phone for communication and Radio Sets/Walkie Talkies ensure team coordination at all times. In the event of an emergency, we are equipped with a Gamow Bag, Ski Stretcher, and First Aid Medical Kit. And our team is always prepared to coordinate rescue operations if necessary.


  • Puja Ceremony for a Safe Expedition

Before the climb, we conduct a traditional Puja Ceremony at Baruntse Base Camp for blessings, safe and successful expedition. The ceremony includes rituals such as Khata, Lungdar, Kungbu, Ting, Dalda, Dhup, and other sacred offerings. This traditional ceremony is an important part of our service, as it helps create a positive, safe environment for climbers.
